DELIVERABLES:

Landing Page, Product Page, Promotional Web Banners

This was a concept to completion landing page built for the DROID section of Verizon Wireless, created to launch a new lineup of devices under a tight timeline.

Every designer on the team was asked to develop an original concept using the Verizon Wireless style guide, and the page took shape once my sketch received approval. The final result combines an animated marquee promoting the new devices, an interactive key features section, a device comparison tool, testimonials from customers and well known blogs, and an accessories section covering both Verizon and Motorola products.

1. My Role

I led this project from the first sketch through final design, originating the core concept of an animated comparison chart paired with an interactive key features section, which became the backbone of the page once it was approved.

2. What I Did

Once the concept was approved, I moved into wireframing with one goal in mind, keeping the experience compact and convenient for the customer. I designed the marquee and its two calls to action directing customers to preorder, along with the key features section, where selecting a feature triggers an animation on the device itself (the DROID Turbo 2’s shatterproof screen was one of my favorite details to bring to life). I also built the comparison charts, which grade devices against each other on battery, performance, and other key factors, added testimonials to build credibility, and designed the accessories section using that same compact, interactive approach.
