Media Scheduler, internally known as Scheduling Assistance, gives Vestcom’s retail partners a single place to manage the content playing on screens across their supermarket locations.

Retail partners who work with Vestcom operate digital signage across their stores, and keeping that signage current one screen at a time, across many locations, quickly becomes unmanageable without a central system. Media Scheduler solves this by giving each retailer a dashboard where they can organize their screens, build out playlists of content, and control exactly what plays, where, and for how long.

1. My Role

Designed Media Scheduler for Vestcom’s retail partners, shaping the interface and flows shown here, including client switching, player management, and asset scheduling and publishing. Worked alongside developers and stakeholders throughout, joining calls for interviews and viewing demos to keep the design aligned with technical constraints and retail partner needs.

2. How It Works

After signing in, a user chooses the retail client they are managing from a grid of client accounts, useful for anyone who supports more than one retail partner from a single login. From there, they land on a list of players tied to that client. Each player represents a physical screen and is listed by name, MAC address, creation date, and number of assets currently assigned. New players can be created directly from this screen.
